Chapter 38
The next was a field trip to West Michigan College. I arrived at school just as the bus got there. I walked into school and found Tara and she had someone else with her. The stranger was a girl with long brown hair, and gray eyes. She looked old, like late twenties. "Jake!" Tara waved me over. She pointed to the stranger and said, "This is Milly, she is a junior from West Point, she's going to be visiting us for a few weeks, she might me going here next year." "Hi." I said, Milly didn't look like a junior, but you never know. "Well you will be able to get to know her tomorrow, but now you have to go." Tara pointed to the Freshmen walking out the door. "Ok see ya." I said and dashed after the exiting students. I got on the bus and sat next to Ashley. "Better get comfortable, it's an hour drive to West Michigan." Mr. Cole, the one leading this trip announced. Me and Ashley talked the entire way there. When we got there we had to listen to an hour long speech about how great West is and why we should go. After that we got a tour around campus. We were split into two groups. In my group there was Ashley, Jeremy, Julianna (aka Pikachu), Rainy, Allyson, Ellie, Selina, and Sindy. First they showed us a library with shelves that move around. Then they showed us a big W in the middle of the campus. "It's said that if you step on the W, then you will fail this semester and get kicked out of West." The tour guide named Randy told us as we walked past by it. "Step on it if you dare." Everyone walked around it. I ran up and jumped on top of it. I'm not in West, so it doesn't matter right? Then we saw a bunch of buildings. And last we got to eat. It was an all you can eat buffet. I ate and ate until I couldn't eat anymore. Then we got back to the school and I had to stay for two hours to study for a test that I had to retake.
