It just seems like the right time for a sad song. Quiet thoughts and sadness It won't be for very long
You just need a break From smiling and laughing Even from when it's not fake
Sometimes you just need a good cry To be alone for awhile You don't even have to try
You just collapse right there Lay your head down Feel like you no longer care
You may even fall asleep In this mellow mood Your thoughts are so deep
It's not depression or hurt You just need to be sad And let your emotions drain into the dirt
Solitude and stillness is to be had It's your soft escape Sometimes you just need a little sad
