What the camera depicts Is thoroughly corrupt It's ways can be odd and cruel Good timing is abrupt
What the camera depicts Isn't quite true It changes the real picture Never showing the real you
What the camera depicts Is something to be shamed It causes prejudice and self-consciousness And for that it's rightfully blamed
What the camera depicts Can be beautiful at times Like peaceful scenes and horizons Taken after great climbs
What the camera depicts Is different every picture But for our obsession with it There may not be a cure
