Finally the bell rang after what seemed like ages of science class. I looked at my schedule to see that I had French class next. That was back on the first floor. I met up with Lily again at the top of the stairs and we walked to French together.
We spent practically the whole period talking about our summers. It was kinda fun. I didn't even realize that Max was in our class until he started to talk about Florida. French is already one of my favorite subjects, and having both L and Max in my class made it even better. The bell rang and our teacher said "Au revoir" to everybody and we headed out the door to gym. Third period went by fast an soon we were headed off to fourth, which is when we have our electives. This term I had sewing, which I really enjoyed last year. The class was soon over after reviewing the basics of sewing machines and stuff. I met up with L in the hallway, she had had Computer Literacy class, and we headed back to our lockers for lunch. We talked all about our classes so far and who we saw and how we liked the teachers. We were both super excited because we had a double period of English together eighth and ninth period, which was only two periods away. We finished off our sandwiches in silence and then it was off to sixth period. L and I had history. It was fine, nothing too special. Ethan was in our class, but no Max. Soon enough the bell rang and it was time for seventh period.
I had math, which I knew neither Lily nor Max would be in since it was a very high level class. But as soon as I walked into the classroom, the first person I saw was Max, looking perfectly sane and like he knew he was in this class.
I guess he got smarter, which could only make him even more crush-worthy. I took a seat next to my friend Ashley (or Ash as everyone calls her) and we talked about our classes and summers until class started.
Our teacher Ms. Tarri (who I had for homeroom) was really nice. Hopefully she stayed that way! She handed out our text books and told us what we would be learning. It seemed like only minutes before the bell rang. I rushed to my locker to meet up with L and grab my stuff for English and then hurried to the classroom.
