Embers in the fire, Not dead, but not a flame, Be careful, they're still hot, And they just aren't the same
As a blazing hearth, Or a timid candle-light, They seem pretty useless, But if you touch them they'll give you a fright.
They're the end, A new beginning. They're a god-send, Embers in the fire.
