Chapter 1

"Aellaaaaaaaaa!" On being rudely woken up by my little sisters, I noticed that the place seemed slightly empty.

"You just missed Corey!" Said Dema, slightly smugly.

"What?!" I exclaimed "I can't have missed her. Corentine said she was going tomorrow!"

"Yeah, well she changed her mind." Tora replied.

"Yeah!" Proclaimed Eira, sticking her small tongue out at me, then running away giggling with the other triplets.

Curse my long lie-ins! I didn't get a chance to say goodbye to Corey. Well, she'll be back by the crescent moon. Putting my sister troubles behind me, I swiftly got my breakfast, and sat on a nearby cloud. It was a warm day. I looked over at the wall and had an idea. Mother said when I was 4,380 sunsets old I could go Out. Out of our little area. Out. Where was my mother? I ran like the wind, but I guess that's because I am the Wind. We are the Wind. My hair bellowing out behind me I ran to find her. She was, as usual, chatting to her friends in our house. We live in Cloud 9.

"Zephrya! Zephrya!" I called.

"Well, of course, then I did what anyon- What is it sweetheart? I'm busy right now. "

"Can I go Out? I thought maybe I could catch up with Corentine, since she only left a few sun-rays ago."

"Ok honey, just don't go far, right?"

"Right." I answered sulkily.

I flew all the way to the gate.

"Slow down darling!" I heard my mother call after me, but I took no notice. When I got to the gate, I placed my palm on the delicate hinges, and they opened gracefully. With a hop, skip and a float, I tore out of the gate into freedom. I look down and... My body wasn't there. All that is left of me was fragile air.
