Night-time,
A soft cradle of black,
A harsh darkness,
The living shadow,
The inky night,
The crow's feather,
A soothing embrace,
Rocking me to sleep,
A pitch black disguise,
Hiding all it does not want you to see,
The smooth sky,
Sprinkled with stars,
Night-time.
