Mr. Mystery
Always tempting me
You play into my coy side
And make my eyes open wide... In awe,
You seem to be everything I like,
See I think you're just my type,
But in reality...
You're everything that I should be afraid of,
You go against everything that I'm made of,
You're the darkness to my light,
Is that why I'm so drawn to you,
Because of you I'm torn in two,
Do what's right or take a turn,
Try it out and risk a burn,
A burn that might scar me for life,
And looking back I'll remember you,
But will it be worth it?
You've experienced so much,
And yet I'm just beginning,
One moment could change everything,
But who has time to wait for the ring,
I do... Right?
At least I'm supposed to,
But, Mr. Mystery...
You continue to keep tempting me,
You invade my thoughts out of no where,
And when you do I don't give a care,
It's like you're taking over,
It's like I'm drunk while I'm sober,
Intoxicated by your charm,
I want to run into your arms,
But should I take the invitation?
And face the years of speculation,
No... My dear Mr. Mystery,
I have the whole world ahead of me,
And you'll just hold me back you see,
And that is why we cannot be,
But if this is so why can I not leave,
Why is it becoming so hard to breathe,

I think your spell has captured me,
But the question is... Is it worth my soul,
To give it all up and lose control,
If only for a minute Mr. Mystery,
Then you shall spend an eternity tempting me...
