A song enters my body It runs through my veins Consumes my dark heart And makes me seem sane
I hear every note With clarity & delight This song consumes my soul And fills my darkness with a light
A light so pure And effortless It brings me to tears I must confess
However... I also makes me want to dance Jolting my muscles As if I'm in a trance
This music flows Through me you see On a path it travels So effortlessly
It warms my toes And continues on Causing flames in my throat That burst into song
The music flowing Creates passion in me It is clear that music & I Are definitely meant to be
I wraps me in it's lyric Embraces with it's song And it beckons me I can't help but sing along
