I despice grades. Have you seen Growing OP? Even though the protagonists parents have very disputed opinions, they are right about one thing, grades make children competitive from an early age, they make us want to achieve higher, and althought it brings us great joy when we achieve our goals, an average grade can turn into depression so easily when others has achieved higher than you.
Today I got a 5/7 in Visual Arts, and I felt like crying in failure.
