(My OH comes out of Tescos with a bunch of pillows and another bunch of tulips)
Me: Are those flowers for me? Thank you, sweetheart! (glowing a little bit inside)
OH: "Yup!" (beams smugly, obviously very happy with himself)
Me: Aw.... (smiling like a schoolgirl)
OH: Well, just look at the price on them - £1 for the lillies and £0.60 for the tulips - I couldn't not get them for you!
