Payday's here,
Thank God.
The tax man will take most though,
Bloody sod.
Living on beans for the last 7 days,
Starting to think that crime might pay.
Managed to resist a credit card,
But at the end of the month it's so bloody hard.
Haven't got the facility of a "bank of mum and dad",
Actually for that I'm quite glad.
See even though by day 31,
By working hard
It's my independence I have won.
