Late night summer BBQ,
Ignites the flames between me and you.
I watch you flex your muscles and show me how manly you are,
As you get cocky flipping burgers -
Don't burn yourself it'll leave a scar!
Me in my floaty summer dress,
Hair lifted by the breeze,
You standing looking really proud,
Your hayfever making you want to sneeze.
The smell runs through our little house,
Kittens indoors chasing an imaginary mouse.
I look at you from where I'm stood,
As you pull on your sweatshirt hood,
I look and you and think this is bliss,
As you lean in for a cheeky kiss.
