I wish, wander and wait, For all things that are great, All these in my little spell, Will keep you very, very well.
The pollen on a bumble bee, The first leaf from an apple tree, The first smile of a baby boy, A ready and waiting Christmas toy.
The last chocolate in a box, The bounce of a bunny, the scamper of a fox, A red petal falling from a rose, A snow-white hanker-chief for your nose.
Grandma's old spotted glasses case, The excitement when you win a race, The dew on the grass in the Spring, The beat of a blackbird's wing.
The twinkle in your Dad's eyes, A pair of shoes, the smallest size, The dreams of a child sleeping, A key in a box for safe keeping.
