Chapter 2
Her skin felt tense, her breath slowed down and she was panicking. Danielle Harris could feel someone watching her. Turning around slowly, she saw Elizabeth, cold stare, pale skin and a blue frock.
"Hello mother," she said slowly. "Hello darling," her words began to wobble.
I'm alone, with an apparent murderer, she thought.
"Where were you?"
"At the police station darling,"
"You won't tell on me will you?"
Danielle froze. Tell on her?
"You remember, I spilled jam on Fathers coat. You were there. I saw you. Please don't tell on me,"
And then Mrs. Harris took a breath.
Just before she decided to leave, she saw something behind Elizabeth's back.
Something sharp.
