The engine was already running like it was designed to and since it couldn't be turned off, I inputted a few commands on the computer via my tablet's remote connection and levelled out its output. I opened the engine compartment of the Volkswagen van, grateful I had taken a practical course in engineering. I removed the rusty old engine and replaced it with mine, which I had designed for a retrofit. I washed my hands and turned off the stereo in the workshop, time for a test drive, I thought. I grabbed the remote for the garage door and got in the drivers seat. After a silent prayer, I keyed in some commands on the tablet to increase the engine output and the van came to life. I was ecstatic! My engined worked and I was proud, I didn't have time to consider the impact this had on my theories. I was so excited I opened the garage door and the van rolled out of the garage. I turned on the radio and the news was on, while I pulled out the driveway and unto the main road.
"Chaos in Angel, Islington this afternoon when a man caused traffic commotion." The female disembodied voice started. "A costumed man, identified only as Night Watch strolled through the streets and caused a small pile up but when authorities tried to apprehend him, he retaliated destroying government property, killing some pedestrians and injuring many more." She continued, I turned up the volume transfixed by the news, thinking my folks would have been in Angel this afternoon before the drove on to Bristol. However, this didn't sound like Night Watch.
