10 Years

We took our vows,
10 years ago today.
The begining of summer,
The 18th of May.

You dressed white,
Me in black.
Over these years,
I don't want to turn the clocks back.

You have made me happy,
I won't lie, at times sad.
But the time spend with you,
Has made me glad.

Through thick and thin,
We have had some pain.
But with as with everything,
It washes away like rain.

You made me whole,
You make me me.
You are my Best friend,
I the lock to your key.

I love you so much,
You never believe.
You would only see,
If you were to leave.

So I raise my glass to you,
As we travel through life.
