As I take my last breath
Upon this earth
I look to the heavens
And remember what I have done
Looking back fills me with dread
Memories of death and destruction
Not once did I stop to think
That one day it would be my turn
The blood that I have spilled
Is enough to drive men insane
I can't take it back now
For it is too late
Lying on my back
Your knife buried in my gut
If I could do it all again
I would without hesitation
For its what made me special
And as I bleed out no one will care
No one will bat an eye lid
You see I am just a man
The world has no purpose for me now
I will just pass on
