I suck in some air and let it out slowly. "Ok, I'm listening." "Have you seen this guy before?" "Yeah, at the train station" "Omg...wh-" "What!?" I exclaimed. "What does he look like, he was wearing black right?" Luke seemed to be talking faster as if he was running away from a mad dog. "and he had dark ginger hair?"
I try to recall, figuring I didn't notice his clothes in details must mean they were black. I often overlook details on black. I look out to confirm his hair color which was, just like Luke suggested, dark ginger, and his clothes. I gasped. "I'll take the answer as a yes" said Luke in a quiet tone. "so who is this guy?" i thought out-loud. The tension was killing me. "Luuke! No more questions, just tell me what I need to know" I wailed in fury.
"I assume it's a priority for you to know, now that he's tailing you. Alright, you're probably aware that publishing your newly inherited fortune in the newspaper might've been the worst idea by mankind?.." "he must be after my wealth.." I trailed off almost in a whisper. "And the only way they can obtain it is if you're dead because firstly, they can receive it directly by going to court and sorting things out with the help of their wit, and secondly, you haven't written your will so it's so much easier for them to settle things" by this point, I was trembling.
"what you need to do now is get to safety, I'm on my way" There was a loud boom, a gunshot, which had missed. I praised God for giving me such an excellent driver. "but where's Justin?" "Leslie, try to understand! You getting to safety is vital. I'll uncover the nuts and bolts subsequently. Hand the phone to the driver"
My shaking hands passed it to him with a little effort. I could see the stars swirling around my head. I was surely awake wasn't I? Then why did all this seem like a nightmare. All I wanted was to get into my warm bed and spend my time with Justin and go on with my private life. Now I was some sort of celebrity. I LOATHED it.
