For those who hide themselves behind a mask of makeup, meanness, toughness or whatever...
If you expect people to ask why you do it
And try to understand you
Understand them
Understand that if you're mean to them, they're most likely to either want to return in kind
Or be scared of you
Their first thought, or even their fiftieth thought
Isn't going to be to try to understand you
So please,
Be who you want to be
But don't expect too many people to understand you.
