I was stood frozen, facing the old ornate mirror, and too scared to open my eyes.
You see my family has a curse, a very horrifying curse that made me stay in my bedroom, on my own for an entire week. When a member of the family turns sixteen something unbelievable happens. You turn into a mysterious, dark wolf that lurks through the forest every full moon, killing every person who enters.
I'm Roxana Miley a petite, shy, young girl who has luscious, dark, straight hair that flows to my boney hips. I always get heads turning in my direction as I have been told that I have very beautiful, enchanting eyes that are the colour of the deep, endless blue sea. I turned sixteen today, November 28th. My mother and father had warned me that I will no longer be in the body of a human but a scary, gigantic wolf. And the worst part is we have to stay in that form for an entire year.
For the previous hours I have been withstanding some excruciating pain. Every muscle in my body was tensed and every bone was turned in ways that no body should.
The change was now complete.

I opened them. I gasped with my heart beating uncontrollably in my chest.
There in the mirror looking back at me was a wolf so big that I was terrified of myself. My fur was thick and black and it covered the length of my new body. But my eyes were the same, just as enchanting as thy were in my human form. I didn't know what was happening with me. I howled viciously and ran out of our family house and straight into the unknown, magical forest. The year of the curse now begins for me, Roxana Miley.
