We sat by the pool, surprisingly cool. My mum was reading on her sunbed, My dad was swimming- every now and again you saw his head. "Joshy!" Said my little sister who tugged on my arm, "Do you feel that!" She said not very calm. "The ground is shaking." Her little voice whispered. She ran to my mother who then kissed her head. "Don't worry honey everything's alright." It was only my sister who could feel the earths might. Carrying on my day I jumped in with my dad, He laughed and said, "How are you my little lad?" Then all of a sudden I could feel the shake, My sister was right this is not fake. I turned around to see the horrible waters, Gushing vastly towards us. "Dad!" I screamed as I ran to his side, He swam out of the pool to rush to my families side. The muddy brown waters were too fast, "I love you all!" Was what I said with my last breath. Swept away within this nightmare, I thought god cared. Gasping for breath I got to the surface, Struggling to stay atop as it went a fast pace. "Mum, Dad, Lydia!" I screamed, Why was Mother Nature so mean. I've lost my life and family that very day, They tsunami had its say. Innocent lives were lost, Mine and my families was part of the cost.
This is for all those who lost there lives during natural disasters. R.I.P.
