Uncontrollable fire swept through my home like an angry, roaring beast. Nothing but acrid smoke was burning the inside of my lungs, as that was all I could breathe in. The fluorescent flames were glowing copper, sending off an unmistakable heat that scorched my delicate, fragile body.

Burns now covered the length of me, my skin raw and extremely sore that I had to bite my tongue to keep back my helpless screams and cries. I pushed my way through the crumbling beams in search for an exit. Panicking, a sweat began to form on my brow. Tears sprang to my eyes in relief as I came across a slit of light. I scrambled my way through ashes and burning furniture. The gap was so small. I pulled, pushed and scratched at the gap. My hands starting to became sore and began to bleed. The gap finally became big enough for me to push through. I swiftly moved myself through the gap to freedom. The wood and bricks scraped my back ripping my clothes and then my skin. I felt my hot blood trickle down my back. As soon as I got into the open I stumbled away from the burning remains. Wanting to get away as fast as possible. I glanced back and let my tears fiercely stream down my pale face, I knew I was wanted to be killed but I didn't think they would do this. Breathing in oxygen quickly gave me a little more strength. My now burning home was no where near another house. I paced faster, it would take me about five minutes to get to the nearest village and house.

I got to the road hoping a car would pass through. My legs were weak and burning with strain. My luck was unreal, I spotted car headlights in the distance. I stood on the roadside waiting for it to come.
