Prom dress Just a little write about two best friends dress shopping.
"we're going dress shopping!" she squealed with excitement. Olivia was the ultimate shopper, to be honest I don't understand how we're friends, we are totally different. "why do we need a dress?" I asked confused and seriously not interested. "it's the winter ball!" she stated rolling her as if I should know. I finished my drink put my coat on and followed Olivia out the shop. It was a typical winter afternoon. The crisp wind sent shivers up my spine causing the hairs on the back of my neck to stand erect. Snow under my feet crunched as I took every step. "In here." Olivia announced whilst pushing the door open. The shop was full of hundreds of dresses in every single colour. I couldn't help give a smile as Olivia skipped through the racks. Her light, golden blonde hair was pulled back in a angelic bun and her heart shaped face had a smile drawn across it. Every time she looked at me her emerald eyes glistened. No wonder why she got all the boys attention. I glanced carefully at the dresses not sure which one to chose. Olivia was in the changing room with a mound of dresses so u decided to sit down and wait for her to show me. A few minutes later she came out in a short red one that made her legs look long. "I don't know if I like this one! What do you think?" she asked in a moaning voice. "it's alright. Maybe try a blue one on?" I questioned waiting for a reaction. "yeah, my mum says blue suits me." Olivia replied whilst shuffling back in the changing room. A few minutes later she came back out in a magnificent royal blue dress. The satin material flowed to her ankles. It had one shoulder strap that was encrusted with silver and blue jewels. "wow, that's the one." I told her not knowing what else to say. "yay!" she answered giving me a gleaming smile. "what dress have you chose?" she asked a frown starting to form on my face. "I don't know." I said in a whisper. "ok I'll pick a few for you." Olivia shimmied around the room picking up a white, black, pink and red dress up. "I don't like the pink and red ones! They're too bright for me!" I said motioning them to be put back in the racks. I tried the black one on first, it looked ok on me. If the white didn't suit me then it will do. In the white dress I turned to face the mirror. I looked beautiful! It came flowing behind me like a long shimmering cape. I looked like a princess.
