You can tell that winter has arrived,
As animals are scuttling to hide.
The nights are getting longer,
The days are getting shorter.
Day is not so bright,
And it's getting cold at night.
Coats out and dusted,
I'm no longer flustered.
I look for a scarf and hat,
To keep the cold from escaping up my back.
