Once again
It's late at night
And I'm in bed with tears in my eyes
Once again I let them fall,
From my eyes
Without control
Onto my cheeks.
Salty droplets
On my lips
Tears from my heart
They speak of the pain
And my inability to part.
To part from you
Who without a care
Make me feel like something spare.
To part from you
Who'd rather be farther than near
And cause me so many late night tears.
