A stolen glance,

An accidental touch,

That's how this story starts.

A young girl

And a young man

From feuding families they come

But with a stolen glance

And an accidental touch

They fell in love.

A love so deep,

You hardly see

Unless in fairy tales and dreams.

They tried to be together

But the families feud burned more than ever,

Until they decided that alas it was not to be,

For this was reality not a dream.

That night they decided they should

Do what Romeo and Juliet ought to do.

They each took a sip of the poisonous drink,

And lay together until their hearts stopped to beat.

The families mourned and cried,

The next day with peace would the funeral carriage arrive.

But in the dark of night,

The couple's heartbeats were restored,

For what they took was from magic ore,

They wrote a note to say goodbye and ran off together in the depth of night.

The next day the family was shocked,

To find the coffins empty and unlocked,

A solitary note lay in between them,

With tears in their eyes the families read:

"In different ways we were born a bred,

Starcrossed lovers until the end,

Alas that life was not for us

So we did what we must.

For even Starcrossed lovers deserve happiness and laughter,

So we ran to find our happily ever after"
