There will be an anthology published in 2013 that is currently looking for short stories on the theme of "Cat Cradle" . I'm going to send a sample of my werecat story for consideration. The details are below for anyone else interested in giving it a go:
Task: Write a short story that relates to "Cat's Cradle' in some way, such as being about a cat, about a woman named Kat, about the child's game Cat's Cradle, etc. All types of stories will be considered but genres mentions were science fiction, alternate history, magical realism. The story should be fiction - No non-fiction. No word maximum word count specified - just not novel length.
You can also submit art for the theme too.

What is the prize?
If your story is chosen then it will be printed in the anthology Cat's Cradle Time Yarns, published in 2013. You retain your rights to your work and if the story is edited, you will gain rights to the edited story too.
