Struggling to think straight. My hardworking writing has paid off:
1. I get asked to be a regular contributor of poems for a start up writing website. Very flattered and think this will be a fun challenge and excellent exposure.
2. Then I get informed I am a 'Featured Writer' on Opuss. Again very flattered and I look forward to getting even more involved.
3. I sent a section of Instinct to be considered as a short story for an anthology. The publisher declined, feeling its not suitable as a short story and would like to publish the whole novel!
I can't think straight. I'm so happy. Going to take some chill time with my BFF tonight so I can write a sensible serious response.
I wish I knew more about publishing contracts. I've never read into it as although I try I never thought I'd get picked. If anyone knows any good info sources, please let me know.
