The dog it stole my homework <That's how the best ones start> The work was on my laptop I didn't have time to save my work
I chased the dog down the alley Out into the fields The dog jumped a fence Into a paddock full of bulls
There it dropped my homework The laptop out of reach Then down swooped a bird Taking it in its beak
This was no ordinary bird A Phoenix of fiery rays It melted the laptop Sorry, what more can I say?
So I hope now you will honour my request for more time For now I must find my dog Before I lose my mind
Then I shall get a job To earn money so i can buy A laptop to do my homework on Next time I'll submit on time
