The ice cream man, he had a plan Since the recession, sales were down With iced delights of all variety He drove his full van into society
First stop was the offices with air con Naughtily he set off the fire alarm The employees, exited out in twos A head count taken at the the ice cream queue
Off he sped to his next stop The factory workers, suffering hot He drove into the delivery bay The manager treated them, it made their day
To the warehouse, on he went The workers said he was heaven sent They bought ice pops and sprinkled dots, Whippey creams and fruit ice dreams The workers were big happy kids it seamed, skipping around with happy smiling beams
It had been a busy day The sun had shone all the way The ice cream man returned to his normal spot And on the beach he enjoyed the last remaining ice cool pop
