We met at school in year nine We walked together & wasted time Back then we were just friends No idea of what we were to begin
We watched Xena and Dawsons Creek Sunday TV to end the week Talking late at night on the beach Sat on steps out of the seas reach
A flood came and took our shack away Finding new ways to spend our day Cuddled up in bed with my best bud Watching films and eating grub
The Beach sold out so we booked in And the next say we watched the film On Valentines with love around Was it our fate? had we been found?
Was it a sign we were to cross the line That our relationship would change Wanting more than friends for too long How can so good ever be wrong

The time had come to fly the nest Bought a house we both liked best For my birthday I wanted a kitten No you said but then you were smitten
Eve and Grace our kitty cat girls Filled our home and made it our world With you I was safe and felt beautiful I joined MG and became a model
One day you tricked me to the park Said I had to practice my posing lark Really it was a romantic endeavour On one knee saying words I'll treasure
So I promised myself to you We flew to Mauritius to say I do Twelve years in love, One year of marriage
