I edited a further four chapters of Instinct and I'm starting to get back into it. It's better than I thought. Maybe, if I get into it enough I'll actually write the ending.
I then took a segment of chapter 7 (a fight scene) and reworked it into a short story for my Cat's Cradle Time Yarns submission. Hopefully they'll like it and include it in their anthology and I can add the achievement to my Writers Bio.
I also prepped and submitted Drift to BWA for their appraisal service where they give feedback and consider if it's good enough to pass onto an agent (it was free because I entered their annual award competition - the big one). Hopefully I'll get some positive feedback and if not I'll go back to the traditional query method.
I actually feel all written out so Birdport and H.G.Wells will have to be tackled another day.
I'm still hoping to write something for Ben Leggett and his friend's website. I just need a short story idea but my headache is starting to win. Going to have a break and have another go tomorrow :)
Yet, I'm adding the BWA monthly pic competition to my to do list. I'm my own evil tyrant.
