The weekend went by way too quick
Now I'm struggling to fall asleep
As if staying awake will keep us on Sunday
Then there will be no work, there'll be no Monday
Maybe if I shut my eyes & go to sleep
I can try & dream my way through the week
On to the weekend, I seek and want to keep
