In Spring 2013, MacMillan Children's Publishing Group will be opening their new website Swoon Reads.
Swoon Reads will be a crowd source publishing venture. In 2014, they will publish 10 to 12 Novels (e-format and paper). Winning authors will get $10,000 advance and standard royalty terms.
They are looking for love stories aimed at readers age 14 and up. That's the only rule. They welcome gay or straight romances. They welcome happily ever after or not. The story can realistic or supernatural, set in any time era. It just needs to be unforgettable and win the votes! The winners are chosen by the community of readers.
Novels should be between 50,000 to 70,000 words. Accompanied by at 140 character Twitter keynote (one or two sentences that'll entice others to read your story). Plus a 125 Synopsis.
They'd like it posted exclusively, however, it will not be disqualified for being on other sites. It just must be unpublished!
You can enter with or without an agent.

I love writing YA Fiction, especially paranormal romance. I plan to enter Drift. I have more novels so I'm going to contact them and ask if its only one entry per writer.
