Once upon a never, I lived on Spinner's End; Narrow, black buildings, Lined up around the bend. My house was near that Of a man I deeply hated; A man who didn't own a hat To cover his mane, so matted. Two old women Knocked on that door one night; Later I heard them And he, all in a fight.
Once upon a never, I lived on Spinner's End; And I decided that I could always send. I never dwelled in my home- My retreats were hasty; Knowing I would always roam, For something a bit more tasty.
Once upon a never, I lived on Spinner's End; But the pain was something Not even I could mend. One day I moved away From all the pain; But, despite my efforts- My life's still filled with rain.
