When first I saw it, I was eight. Instead of sleeping, I stayed up late. Browsing through things Mom brought back from the market, I found this thing she calls a 'blanket!'
So I idealized the perfect plan; I put it on, I'm Superman! Saving the world from dangers to come, And fairly occasionally, even my Mom.
Heroic rescues, villains, escapes! Anything was possible whole wearing my cape! I was a sheriff, a hero, a God! Nothing could stop me, heat, rain or mud.
Then a windy day, while wearing my cape, Something happened that changed my fate. A gust of wind; heroes beware— I'm suddenly flying through the air!
Sadly, this tale has no charming end; This tree was not something I'd plan or intend. And blown by the wind, I stayed there 'till night. I guess you could call this my 'kryptonite.'
