My goldfish's name is Chicken; I know, I know, weird name. But 'tis the name thus written, which added to his fame. Chicken was a goldfish of no ordinary kind, The feats that he accomplished are a baffle to the mind.
Ol' Chicken knew ten languages, a marvel for a fish. He thrived in checkers and in chess, and danced flamenco... ish.
He excelled at every spelling bee and wrote the sweetest poetry. His paintings put Van Gogh to shame and won in every Scrabble game.
Alas, well educated, he quickly graduated, And obtained a PhD in oceanology! He met a nice fishette, it's a wonder how they met, And had Lauren, Sophie, Nemo and Amette!
Too bad he worked so tasty a dish. I guess he should have done the math, And kept his fish tank out of reach of Whiskers, our gray cat.
