Ghostly candles light the table, This dark night comes from no kid fable. A black chandelier hangs from the cieling, The room is alive with a venomous feeling. The red drapes are shut, the table is set, The guests are welcomed in with a macabre sonnet. Glowering gargoyles, cobwebs and flaires, In elegant shimmer, through ivory stairs, Pass by the guests, awaiting the feast, Sir Frankestein, Werewolf, the Thing and the Beast... The food has been cooked with meticulous care, The grandieur of the plates not your typical fare. Served on silver platters, on a silken blanket.
