My hero is brave and saves the day, At night he chases the monsters away, You'd be shocked by how many dragons he'd slay, If only he'd been able to stay...
My hero has no cape but he makes me fly, Picks me up and throws me high into the sky. My hero is strong and taught me not to cry. He holds my head and giggles 'dalai!'
My hero helps me sleep when I'm scared at night, He tells good stories; I'm the princess, he's the knight. He gives the best bear hugs and squeezes real tight, He'd easily win in any robot fight.
My hero is BIG and very strong, He dances and plays with me all day long. He sings and knows many a song, He makes me laugh when things go wrong.
He gets his powers from this thing called "cow fey," But he says I'm too young and won't give any to me. He holds me on his shoulders on parades so I can see, Before he left he promised to make me a house on a tree.
I've missed my hero 'cause he's been away, But now he's back and now we can play! As the door to the airport opens and he comes my way...
I wonder what Adventures we'll be going on today.
Welcome home, Dad! We've missed you!
