How can you possibly say winter is here?
It's snowed but 5 days in total this year!
No snowmen, snow angels or even snowflakes,
Not even snowballs can we try to make!
Rain, though, it does, with the greatest of ease,
Should I be building an Ark?
Should I cut down some trees?
Has nobody told those in charge of the weather,
We don't need more rain, we've watered the heather!
Christmas isn't Christmas without a little snow,
I'm told it's to be here next week, I hope so!
As long we've some in January,
When we're skiing, but that's another story.
