I met a little fairy,

Her name was innocence blue.

She wore a dress of spiders web,

And pretty acorn shoes.

A fear appeared upon her face,

As she saw I'd seen her too.

She told me of her hopes and dreams,

To win the fairy wars.

She wanted to beat the evil ones,

Who take the freedom of her kind.

Her family they cannot live,

Are forced to serve the queen.

They pick the seeds from strawberries to make a secret spell,

The queen she needs the magic but she'll never tell.

I ask innocence if I can help,

But she sadly shakes her head.

The only way to defeat the queen is to kill her in her bed.

No hope of coming even close,

With bees guarding her night and day.

She cries a tear of golden dew,

My family are worked to death,

My fathers ill and cannot rest.

I take her in my giant hand,

Whisper words of comfort.

In winter the bees cannot survive,

You need to create a cold snap.

She grins and flies with beautiful music,

And I smile with joy.

I hope I see innocence blue again,

With happiness and not sorrow.
