Part 9:
I had to drop off my sister and then head to practice. It bummed me out because I thought Kenny would have at least met me at my house but he was nowhere in sight. "Alright Amie, I'm gonna head to practice, I'll talk to you when I get home. Bye." she waved back at me. "Don't worry Silas, he probably had a good reason!" I smiled back and waved. "Yeah, sure" I thought. When I got to practice no one was in sight. Hmm.. Where could everyone be?.. Maybe in the locker room. It's weird cuz we usually meet on the field. Whatever, that's fine. I walked to the locker room and no one was there. I called Danny. *Doooooot.. Doooooot.. Doooooot.. Hello?" "Danny?! Hey dude it's Silas, where is everyone at? I'm waiting for everyone at practice?" "Practice was canceled.." he sounded upset.
"Whats wrong?.. What happened?.." I asked. "You didn't hear what happened?.." he softly said. "No.. Tell me.." I questioned.. "I can't Silas I'm sorry.." he whispered.. I grew nervous. "Why not?!... Danny tell me what happened!.." "You don't wanna know Silas.. I.. I can't be the one to tell you I'm so sor--" I hung up on him. I drove home to figure this all out. I shut my car door to see my sister standing in front the garage door way. Her eyes wet from crying. Tears dripped down her cheek. "Amie what's wrong?.." I asked as I ran to her. "Silas..." and looked away while she began to sob. "What Amie?... Please tell me what's going on?.." I begged. My palms began to sweat.. I began to panic.. She looked back to me and spoke softly trying to mutter within each breath. "Kenny.. Kenny is hurt..."
