Part 22:
"Hey!!.. Come back here!.." I hollered at the dog quietly as I could. She just kept going. *Rhoof!* "You did not just do that?.." *RHOOF!* "AH!" I said aloud in my head. How am I suppose to save the world if this dogs going to get me killed!! I jumped behind a tree as fast as I could. I closed my eyes and tried to listen to what was there. "Hey girly!.." a voice came from behind the tree shrub. "Come he--.." This voice was so familiar. "Ugh!.. Dang bush!.. How the heck did you get in there BB, let me see your paw!" *Rhoof Rhoof!* "Yeah yeah one second I'm trying.. Uh!! Okay, jeez.. Wow this place is beautiful.. How did you find this?.. How is your paw, is it better?.." I felt as if she bent down to check. "There goes the freaking hideout.." I whispered. *Rhoof* "Hmmm.. Hello?.." she said. I didn't respond. I closed my eyes hoping that it would be better if I just shut them. Maybe it would help. "Hegh hegh hegh." I peaked one eye open to see "Bb" looking right at me and Elli behind her staring at me. "Hi..." I gave a shy wave. "What are you doing?.." she asked with a cocked eye brow and then started to laugh.
"OH!!.. Hi!! I didn't see you there hehe..!" I tried to hide the embarrassment off my face. "I'm just hanging out.. relaxing.. thinking.. that's all.. Why?" "You're randomly in the woods.." "My house is like.." I looked around to find it but had no idea what direction it could be in. "ehh somewhere around here haha" I said laughing shyly. "What about you detective Powell?.. Hmm?.. Where are you coming from?! Oh shoot!!.. What time is it?" I freaked out, trying to find my phone. "It's 3:43 silly and I was walking my dog like I always do so lehh!" she said stinking out her tongue at me. "What happened to her?.." "You must be talking to about her paw. She got it caught on something and it hurt her really bad." As she said that, she bent over trying to check on Bb's paw. When she got to it, her face was honestly priceless. "What?!.. I could have sworn something was wrong with her paw?!.." she said sounding shocked as ever. "Elli.." I said trying VERY hard to sound sympathetic. "I understand that you find me very attractive but all this is NOT necessary. Your dog might be very slick but you madam will not fool me." I said giggling. "I swear I didn't do anything of the sort!" she said earnestly as her cheeks turned a rosy red.
"Elli.." I whispered to her as I walked up to her forcing her to unsteadily reach out behind without looking "Oh.." surprise by a tree, she leaned back against it. "Elli.." I whispered once again. Her eyes a sea blue, staring back at mine as if she could see right through me. I let out a small breath, trying to take in the beauty of this girl. My right arm pinned against the tree above the left side of her head. "I haven't had anytime to notice you this way" I said shyly. I began to blush a little. "You noticed me pretty well when it was my first day" she said giggling. "There were quite a few times where noticed you staring at me while we were at lunch." "Did you now? Heh.." I said scratching the back of my head feeling embarrassed if anything. "The games tomorrow and I know I asked you already.. At least I think I did, I don't know.. But umm.. Would you like to hang out with me after the game... tomorrow?.." "Hmmmm.. I don't know if you can keep up with me sir." "I think I can.." I said. She lowered her chin and smiled deviously at me and with that, her left arm came up and pushed my right arm upwards causing me to fall back a little. Her right arm catching me by my shirt and swung me around at the tree and pinned me against it, "We'll see."
After my little run in with Elli early I couldn't stop thinking about her. I walked home but noticed myself stumbling and tripping over pointless branches. I was not all there. I heard a branch from behind me crack and it scared the heck out of me. My body froze, a tingle came inside me, the next thing I knew my hands were gone. I could feel them in front of me but I couldn't see them. I look down to the sight of nothing. I couldn't see my legs, chest, or anything. I freaked out in my mind trying to figure out what was going on and when I heard the bushes stumble I immediately became still. "Silas?.." Kenny's head appeared from the bush. "SILAS?!..." I didn't know what to do or say. Umm... "Hey!.." I whispered. He looked up as if I was flying in the sky. That was actually pretty smart, I would have just dipped out personally. "Where are you?.." he sounded a little frightened. "Dude.. Don't panic okay? Its me and I'm not trying to scare you I promise.." I tried to shed some light into the conversation. "Umm.. It's kinda hard right now because I have NO idea where you are.." I thought about it for a second. "Hey remember the time you made fun of me for being darker out of the group?.." I asked him innocently. "Ehhh.. Oh yeah! Why?.."
*SLAM!* I punched him really hard in the arm. "OWWW!!!!!.. Dude!!! Oh your gonna get it Silas!" *SMACK* I laughed aloud. It landed right on the back of his hand. One thing Kenny hated was getting hit in the back of his head. "You did NOT just do that.." "Say sorry for all of that!" I laughed. "No.." "Yes!" "No!" "YES!" "NO!" *SMACK* "SORRY!" he yelled. "Dude, you are TOO sweet! You didn't have to." He was so red haha. "Alright I'm done haha." "Could it be another ability?" "Umm.. Possibly yeah. Well I'm assuming that's what it is." "How did it happen?.." "My whole body felt weird, almost as if it was reacting to the danger." "Your on your own." "Speaking about me by myself, I ran into Elli earlier!" I said grinning at him. He turned to me immediately. "No.." he looked very surprise like everything that just happened, disappeared.
"Yeah.." I thought about a little scheme in my head. "She kissed me to." His mouth widened, probably the widest I haw ever seen. "No way!!!.. Dude she has only been here for like two days.. It's either she's ugh.. Really into you or she's a.. You know.." he replied slightly whispering. Who just thinks like that, ugh I had to set this straight. "Dude I was just kidding jeez.." way to ruin it the plan.. Kid always has to over think things. "Where were you?.." "I had to go home for dinner. You know how my mom is." As we were talking I hadn't realize that we made it to my house. "Thanks for coming up to check up on ke dude, I really appreciated it." I shook his hand and he nodded at me. "I'll catch up with you tomorrow, get some rest for the game." I smiled and nodded back at him. "Tomorrows going to be one heck of a game."
