I said it and it came out completely wrong. I looked up at your face and I almost died right then. You didn't say a word. And I tried to tell you why but it didn't make sense. You were blindsided and I am sorry. I'm sorry I blindsided you, I'm not sorry that we are over though. Don't get me wrong it was fun, you are one if my best friends but I just needed out. You were so quiet. We were walking outside and it seemed like all the wind just stopped, all I could hear was the silence. That silence killed me. Then you just sat down and I thought you might pass out. You asked me if we could ever be together in the future. I made a mistake. I didn't make that clear. Then I said I had to go.
Then I saw you sitting there on that bench next to the pond and I almost fell off my bike. You were crying. I pedaled as fast as I could. You were crying. I almost died.
