You say you love
by Joseph Tsang Mang kin

You say you love....
Do you know what that means?
For sure you know that itchy sensation
That keeps your thoughts restless but anchored still to just one voice, one name or one image.

Then hand in hand, it in hand, hand in it
And it in it , till time disintegrates
The sum total of face and grace and love
Then redrafts new versions of the same game.

Each one of us will have to fade away.
Lust is no sin with love or without it
Nor love, manna, with lust or none at all.
But love and lust need us not at all to survive.

It's simply Nature's way to stay alive
Make you feel good and keep the world going.

What is life without breath. Without the heart that beats in our chest, Without the blood that runs through our veins, What is life. I do exclaim. What is life if not to love.

Mystery

I wish life could remain just a mystery. Not planned out to become just history. When did the time of the unknown become old. To remain in books with pages to unfold. Where did all of that magic go.

A Song, Long Ago

So this song you sung so softly, Has created cities and cars, constructed cathedrals and cinemas, A hoard of humanity, holy and humbled, Beneath you.

For those that don't like darkness.. For those that don't like night... For those that fear what's in it. For those that don't like the sight.

Time

Time passes with the running stream, Fleeting like most hopes and dreams, Like the sound of the ticking clock, Pain flies on with the soaring flock, And the flow of life continues on, Into the night...

Mirror, Mirror

Mirror, mirror on the wall, Who's the fairest of them all. Who's the ugliest, the worst, Who is treasured, Who is cursed. Mirror, mirror on the wall, Who will rise and who will fall.
