I am the moon in the night sky, I share my domain with the stars, The sun is on the opposite side, Wrapping the world in its sunny scarf,
I light up the darkest sky's, I signify the night, Without me the stars wouldn't be, And they wouldn't shine bright,
The sky is my blank canvas, One of which is quite plain without me, But when the stars and I surface, It is beautiful, that I can guarantee,
I go through different phases, Sometimes you barely see me at all, I'm full and half and at a crescent, Wrapping the nation with my omnipresent shawl,
I have a pull upon the earth, I create the tides, Sometimes they go awry, And with the land they collide,
We all live in a delicate balance, Myself, the earth, the sun too, Without one or the other, There would be no me or you.
