I miss you,
Come back,
I need you,
My eyes are black,

My mascara ran,
Why did I wear it,
I love you gran,
You grinned and bared it,

But now your gone,
It's all over now,
The sun shone,
After your final bow,

The cancer stopped the minute you heart did,
It took you from us,
I was such a lucky kid,
To have you in my life because,

You were like a mum to me,
Like the ray of light I need,
Now it's gone but you are free,
I'm in darkness my heart will bleed,

I miss you more than you would know,
I know one day ill see you again,
I wish you didn't have to go,
One day ill see you there'll be no rain,

My heart will no longer bleed,
The darkness will go too,
Ill be freed,
Until that day just so you know I miss you.

@sara_lou I struggle to find the words I need to say really, I could go on all day, my grandad is just as dear and he's going through cancer atm too. Writing my thoughts down does help :) thanks for your comment :) it may not be great but I mean every word!!

@sammielee46 I share your pain Hun it's not easy to handle but totally agree writing everything down helps a lot, sometimes I jot random thoughts down in the moment then try and arrange them into meaningful sentences/prose at a later date. :)

@sara_lou I'm not short of a list of words to put to paper, just need to figure out where it all fits. :D I suppose if we didn't have heartache amazing stories and poems wouldn't exist :) using my experiences to write may give other people inspiration too!! Thanks Hun, looking forward to reading through all of your work too!
