Money doesn't make you happy, It may make you smile, It may bring you joy, But only for a while.
You buy an item, You become materialistic, You think you're happy, Your behaviour sadistic.
Do those material possessions, Really bring you wealth? I'd rather have my family, Full of happiness and health.
Money's happiness, Is only short lived, If you've no one to share, Your happiness with.
Wealth has different meanings, Money family and friends, Do you need a fifty pound note, To bring you joy in the end?
Money can buy you comfort, In materialistic ways, But in my heart my happiness, Is my children, and that's where it stays,
Money can pay your rent, It can buy you yummy food, It cannot buy you friends to stick by you, Friends who are true,
The best things in life cost nothing, They are completely free, You don't need spare change, To be one hundred percent happy.
