Summertime sun shines hazily down to land,
Uniformed rays the colour of the sand,
Natures way of lifting our spirits,
Lighting our days and all that goes with it,
Incandescent beams warming our skin,
Giving us a tanned complexion - win win win,
Hot and sticky, a summers day,
Tempting our souls with ice cream and water play.
